Principles
We process personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the supplementary national data protection laws. This website does not collect data for analytics or advertising purposes, does not set cookies and does not embed content from third parties.
Hosting and server log files
The website is delivered from a server operated by Hetzner Online GmbH (Gunzenhausen), located in its data centre in Falkenstein/Vogtland, Germany. With every request, the web server automatically stores:
- IP address of the requesting device
- Date and time of the request
- Requested address and HTTP status code
- Amount of data transferred
- Referrer URL
- Browser type, browser version and operating system
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in delivering the website securely and without errors and in defending against attacks. This data is not merged with other data sources.
Log files are started afresh every day and deleted automatically after eight days at the latest. Hetzner Online GmbH acts on our behalf as a processor (Art. 28 GDPR).
Contact form and email
If you contact us via the contact form or by email, we process your details to handle the enquiry and for any follow-up questions.
The form is submitted to a service on our own web server, which forwards the details to us by email. To prevent misuse, your browser fetches a random, time-limited token from the server while you fill in the form, which is sent along with it. The service also keeps your IP address briefly in memory to limit repeated requests; it is not stored permanently. No cookies are set.
This email is sent via the Brevo service (Paris, France), which acts on our behalf as a processor (Art. 28 GDPR).
Emails to us — including those from the form — are received and stored in our mailbox at Microsoft 365, provided by Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited (Dublin, Ireland). Microsoft acts on our behalf as a processor (Art. 28 GDPR).
Legal basis
Processing is based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) and on the performance of pre-contractual measures (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future.
Storage period
The data remains with us until you ask us to delete it, withdraw your consent or the purpose of storage no longer applies. Mandatory statutory retention periods remain unaffected.
Fonts
This website serves its fonts itself. No connection to third-party servers is established when a page is loaded, and no data is transmitted to font providers.
